Judge Crispo served on the Los Angeles Superior Court, Direct Civil Calendar from 1995-2004; Criminal Calendar, 1994-1995. His tenure on the bench for nearly a decade presiding over a variety of matters, and his extensive private career, enable him to effectively work with counsel and their clients to move matters toward resolution. Knowledgeable in many aspects of the law, Judge Crispo is insightful, extremely personable and knows how to achieve consensus.

Judge Crispo began his legal career as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Los Angeles, 1961-1962. He worked as an associate and later Of Counsel to the firm of Gilbert, Thompson & Kelly, 1962-1967, and was a partner at Breidenbach, Swainston, Crispo & Way, 1967-1994, until his appointment to the Superior Court.
