In private practice, Judge Cohn was a partner at Aaronson, Cohn and Dickerson, with experience in municipal law, commercial, construction, trusts and estates, family, personal injury, professional liability and toxic torts. Senior City Attorney, City of San Carlos, San Mateo County, 1956-1963. Counsel, Federal Security Agency, Washington D.C., 1940-1942. Member of faculty, California continuing judicial studies program (CJER), Berkeley, 1981-1983; faculty member, California Judicial College (CJER), Berkeley, 1973-1974 and 1983. California Judicial Councils Representative on California Criminal Justice, 1973-1976; former Chairman, Judicial Planning Committee, 1975-1981.
